About Us

History

Established in 1989, Family Montessori Preschool of Loyola was founded on the belief that preschoolers can best develop their potential selves only when their learning activities involve collaboration between teachers and parents.

In 2014, we opened our second campus in San Roque, Marikina, thus bringing our best practices to the Marikina area.

For over 30 years, we have helped in the growth and formation of many preschool children from different walks of life and we will continue to do so, all in the spirit and method of the Montessori Approach.

Core Principles

Our goal is to form a community of families and teachers that learn and grow together while fostering love, care, respect, support and empathy for themselves and for each other.

Family

We believe that family is the primary educational unit in society, with the parents as the primary teachers of the child. It provides essential support to a child’s growth and, on a larger scale, serves as the foundation of the nation.

Montessori

We believe that the Montessori method respects each child’s individuality and highlights the importance of developing the child’s ability for free choice.

The Montessori prepared environment empowers the child to take active responsibility as a member of the classroom community, the family and the society.

Preschool

We believe that the first years of a child’s life are the most critical period of their self-development. Thus, we believe that a child-centered learning environment for the two-to-six-year-old child best helps them acquire basic concepts, skills, attitudes and values.
